This review is from: Omni-Directional 9dBi Wi-Fi Wireless Indoor Range Extender Antenna with SMA Connector (Electronics) These antennas are hit and miss for in house applications. They DO improve the signal, but still suffer the loss due to signal path. These also can be cause for slower network speeds if in an area saturated with 2.4Ghz networks, as they also help pick up other networks too. They are worth every penny if you are just looking to improve in house signal quality, but have their drawbacks as well, just like any antenna with gain. I opened the box and screwed it onto my computer immediately. Went from one bar to five bars instantly!
