The problem remains! Since it has a cable, I tried placing the antenna in MANY different spots and the signal always showed between 20% and 35%. My surprise was that when I placed the antenna in line of sight with the router the signal still didn't went higher than 50%... IN LINE OF SIGHT at 4-5 meters distance! UNBELIEVABLE!

The adapter with its original antenna gave good (even great) results in every situation I threw it in but there was one location that was having a poor signal, so I bought this antenna and tried it out.
It made absolutely no improvement, even though the antenna could be put some distance from the computer the adapter was plugged in to. In fact, I noticed no difference with this thing attached than without an antenna hooked up to the adapter at all. I'm not sure if this means the adapter I have is just that good or that this antenna is just that bad. I personally would not recommend this product. |
