Using high performance RISC technology and simple slide-in connectivity options, the AR720 is the optimal solution for the larger branch or corporate site with demanding network requirements. A choice of five Plug-in-Cards (PICs) means that networks can be quickly and easily upgraded as business requirements change. Connectivity options include Primary Rate and Basic rate ISDN, Frame Relay, X.25, leased circuits to 2Mbps, multiple Ethernet and dial-up modem. Up to two PIC cards are supported per unit, these may be mixed and matched as required. Connection to the LAN using either 10 or 100Mbps Ethernet comes as standard.
