Belkin solved the frequent signal dropping problem,

August 11: I bought this router from Walmart and proved a bad buy. Although installation is easy, but the router drops signal 5-6 times per day. Whenever It drops signal, I have to unplug it, wait for 10-15 seconds, then plug it again with power supply. Not funny!
November, 02, 2010: Belkin customer service has spent around 30-45 minutes to upgrade firmware for this router. Their latest firmware has actually solved the frequent signal dropping problems and for the last couple of weeks I have not been experiencing any signal drop. I also get 150 mbps data transfer speed for laptop and 135 mbps for desktop. It also covers entirely my one bedroom apartment( 480 sq. feet). Right now, I am satisfied with this product and getting good value for my money.
I sincerely suggest others to buy it. I give this product 4 star.

This router is awful. Horrible signal strength (I can't connect when three feet away from it), poor speed, and just overall low in quality. Get something else, you'll thank me later.
***UPDATE: I updated the firmware like one of the other customers suggested and it seems to have solved most of my problems especially the signal dropping one.

DO NOT BUY THIS. Me and my roomate bought this because we are on a budget (college kids) but I regretted it the very first day! Instalation was easy...sure but I would take an difficult install for something that works. Internet connection is ALWAYS intermittent. I am never confident when getting on my computer to get on the internet. When it DOES work it is generally slow! I honestly want to smash the thing but then I could not return it. Please, save yourself the frustration and do not waste your time, get a cisco or a linksys, because BELKIN ROUTERS ARE JUNK!
