I purchased this router to acheive wireless connectivity in my home using a Pantech UM185 usb modem. All I had to do was plug in the router and it was up and running in seconds. Since my internet plan has a data usage cap, it's also very helpful that the CTR35 router keeps track of how much data I use (as long as I always keep it on).
The router also has good range; I receive a good signal anywhere in the house, and the router supports 16 wireless connections simultaneously (have only used three at one time so far with no problems).
Furthermore, the router has an ethernet port to hook up one device if it is not wireless enabled.
I have had no problems, and the router works better than I expected. If you have a usb modem and want wireless connectivity, this is the router for you (be sure to check modem compatibility).

We live in Rwanda, Africa and must rely on 3G USB modems for Internet. Being able to share a single modem is a real blessing. The Cradlepoint ctr35 is a great product. Worked right out of the box with very little setup. We had 5 computers online this afternoon with no problems. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Few devices have such an outstanding "out of the box" experience. Booted it up, upgraded firmware, configured WPA2 AES access, connected my Sprint USB cellular stick to the WAN port and all the laptops in my house had secured wireless access.
I had never heard of Cradlepoint and was initially looking at the big players, Linksys, Dlink, Netgear etc. I chose Cradlepoint because they engineer cellular routers and that is it. Have you ever bought a Linksys product where the development seemed like it was not finished and support was horrendous? Not so with this Cradlepoint router.
Before I purchased the router I sent an email asking if my specific Sprint USB stick was supported. The next day I got a response that the latest firmware would bring support for it. Cradlepoint, by the way, supports 3 to 5 times the number of cellular devices as their competition because that is what they do.
I also purchased a USB to barrel connector such that I can power...Read more
