Summary: JUNK! 2008-11-17
Comment: I bought this product to replace a Linksys router that failed. The D-Link EBR 2310 keeps disconnecting from the cable modem every 5-10 minutes. D-Link knows about this problem and they can not fix it. Do not waste your money. I'm going back to a Linksys.

Summary: Perfect For What I needed! 2008-11-10
Comment: Very easy to install and use. I got this so that I could have my PC (Dell XPS 410) and XBOX 360 connected to the internet at the same time. I have 2 tips for you:
1. If you have VISTA, DON'T run the CD. VISTA can detect a new network. All you need to do is, connect your modem to the primary port, then your computer and other devices to the numbered ports. That is it, that's all I did and everything works great.
2. Dont forget you will need a cable for any other things you want to connect. The unit comes with one (short) cable-so you can connect your modem to your router, then your pc to the router, but that 2nd pc, or 360, or whatever you'll need another cable. Suprising how many forget this :)
Its a great router, price is good, easy set up works great. Recommended!

Comment: I am not happy with your return service. I made mistake ordering wired Router while I need wireless one, but the seller refused to return the router or replace it with wireless one.

Summary: Let Me Explain 2008-10-03
Comment: I bought this a while back. It arrived in great condition and looked great. I had a lot of trouble setting this up on my computer. It was hard to get tech help and it currently sits in my closet. I went and bought a Lynsys a few days later. Maybe I am just not intelligent enough to hook this up but it didn't work for me.

Summary: Truly Plug and Play 2008-09-11
Comment: No problems at all. This little router is coupled with a D-Link gigabit switch and I had nothing to do except hook up the ethernet cables and the power cords and in less than 10 minutes everything worked well and has not had one failure or surprise. The two D-Links apparently recognized each other and communicated freely because all is working very, very well. I am exceedingly happy with this purchase.
