I am very impressed with the number of features available on this modular router, as compared to the Linksys WRV54G and the Cisco 800 series. I did not require WiFi since I will use a separate product for that. I bought it primarily for the firewall, VPN and security features for my SOHO network. Although 2x the cost of the Linksys, we had the WRV54G at work and it could not stand up to a 20M Ethernet Internet connection (kept dropping sessions) even though the port is rated at 10/100. My one complaint is that the web setup did not work as in the manual, since it did not have those basic services enabled. I had to connect to it via the serial cable and enter the default configuration I found on the ATI site for the AR-400 series. After that the Ethernet connection, DHCP and GUI worked as expected.
