This review is from: Medialink - Refurbished Wireless N Router - 802.11n - 150 Mbps - 2.4 Ghz - NEW Design w/ Internal Antenna (Electronics)
I debated whether to buy a brand new Medialink Wireless-N router, or this refurbished model. I finally decided to save a few bucks on the refurbished model, based on Medialink's high marks for customer service. It was a wise decision. The purchase was to replace an old Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N router that I've never liked.
Shipping by Medialink was pleasantly fast, considering I opted for the standard shipping. I ordered the unit last Tuesday, and it arrived 3 days later on Friday. Not bad for snail mail; from New Jersey to Colorado. It arrived properly packaged and complete with all needed accessories. The glossy black unit that I received had minor scuff marks, but nothing that detracts from the look of the unit. The important thing is the performance and it did not disappoint in that regard.
I followed the instructions for setting up the router, and all went well. I had no need for the included CD. I do not have a modem, as my setup is a direct connection...Read more

After reading the numerous positive reviews of the new version of this router and the excellent response by the manufacturer to the few negative reviews I figured 'what the heck, it's $25.'
This router replaces an aged G-speed NetGear that liked to drop connections randomly and had a really annoying whistle. I ordered on Thursday and received last night (Monday) - very fast shipping. Packaging was good - your usual cardboard box. Not much room for improvement there.
The router itself is a pretty basic black box, surprisingly light and curvy. I did note a few scuffs on the surface - nothing horrible - signs that this is, indeed, a refurbished product as stated. Nothing to detract from the performance and if you're really concerned about shiny you should be buying new.
Router setup was easy, though I'm really used to the NetGear menus so finding everything took a few minutes. There are helpful hints shown in all the menus when something isn't obviously...Read more

This is great Router it does everything it clams it does and does it well. I just wanted a router that work and didn't drop the signal all the time. I didn't need all the extra junk they put into routers these days (guess network ext.) And make you pay for them. I have owned many different kinds of brands of routers Dlink, NetGear, Links and this one beats all of them. I have yet to drop the signal and I've owned it now for 3 weeks.I have an Iphone, android, Laptop, Ruko Box hooked up Via WiFi. I have it Hard Wired to a Netgear Powerline adapter and am running an Xbox 360, Roku Box and Panasonic Vercast TV. I cant believe it was a refurb it looked brand new. Thank You MediaLink keep up the good work.
