This product is Brand New.The NETGEAR ISDN routers with integrated hub (models RH340 and RH348) connect multiple computers to the Internet to access email and download information, programs, or games. Up to 4 computers (with network cards) can directly connect to the router to share Internet access using one ISDN phone line and one Internet Service Provider account. You can also connect the routers to NETGEAR Ethernet hubs for unlimited computer connections. The Model RH348 adds the ability to make LAN to LAN and dial-in calls. With these router-hubs, NETGEAR brings high-speed Internet access to the small business workplace, within a small business budget.These routers put the full power of ISDN into the hands of small businesses. While traditional modems rarely achieve full speed because of line quality, the the RH340 and RH348 use ISDN's pure digital network to achieve maximum speed with every connection. The fast, 128 Kbps speed increases the efficiency of all Internet work. The RH340 and RH348's built-in DHCP server automatically assigns and configures IP information, including the connected computers' IP addresses, Domain Name Servers, and default gateways, making Internet connections plug and play. Each router has two ports for connecting phones or fax machines. It also provides for voice override so phone calls and faxes can be sent or received without losing data connectivity.
