This Router absolutely screams. Unlike other reviewers that are probably less savvy , I thought this thing absolutely screamed. trendnet makes good gear and I recommend it to all my friends that are seeking bang for your buck.

I was a proud owner of the discontinued TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router TEW-633GR. It had the perfect blend of price and performance. Unfortunately, a lightning strike turned an awesome router into a smoldering paperweight. The model number and feature set of the 634 led me to believe that it was an updated version of the 633. wanted to replace my old linksys wireless g - but ended up sending this back because:
1. No speed difference using n (this is between a new mac mini with wireless n and ethernet connected gigbit mac)
2. USB ports will not work with Macs - windows only
3. Every configuration change made to the router setup screens causes a 45 second delay/wait while it "saves" applies the change.
I ended up buying a used apple airport extreme base station...
