Summary: Requires a reboot ever few weeks, UPnP doesn't work well 2010-02-28
Comment: There is a lot to love about this router.
1. it's small
2. high quality construction
3. 4 Gigabit LAN ports and 1 Gigabit WAN port (great if you have very high speed broadband like Fios or a Comcast DOCIS 3 modem)
4. The web user interface is easy and uncluttered
if what you need is just a router (say for a structured media closet) this is an ideal choice.
Update: after using this router for a few months I have gone back to my D-Link 4-Port GamerLounge Broadband Gigabit Gaming Router.
Basically, I have to reboot this router more often that I should (which should be never). Also UPnP configuration is extremely buggy. You have to reboot after each devices sets up UPnP ports for them to stick.

Summary: Very Secure and Reliable 2010-02-17
Comment: This router was tough to find good reviews on online. I bought it anyway though on the advice of a network administrator who uses only Trendnet products.
It has given me no problems at all and full security and bandwidth. I must add I like that it doesn't have Wifi, this is an added level of security in my opinion. People scanning your house for hotspots won't ever even know whether or not you have Internet access let alone a Wifi enabled router they might be able to hack into. If you have a router with Wifi and you don't use the Wifi I recommend shutting the Wifi off in the router configuration, if possible.

Comment: The first thing that stands out about this router is the high build quality. I love the heavy duty metal enclosure and quality connectors. The status LEDs are just the right brightness. Has an nice configuration page, and uses defaults that would be best for almost all users.
It runs cool.
This is not a wireless router, but a high-quality wired router/firewall. I use a TRENDnet wireless access point (TEW-638ABP) along with this router to service the occasional visitors that bring their wireless laptops.

Summary: Not for Business/Office Use 2010-02-07
Comment: Unfortunately, if you want to use this device in an office setting with more then a few users, you should buy something else. The device blocks packets randomly and cuts out users. There is no way to prevent this from occurring. This may well be due to some type of SPI (stateful packet inspection) that cannot be turned off.
The simple solution for us was to purchase the D-link GamerLounge Gigabit Gaming Router. All our problems disappeared instantly.

Summary: Works once you get it working... 2010-02-03
Comment: There are some difficulties to get this router to work with some modem/routers you get from some ISP companies. But luckily I got a new modem/router from my ISP and after that everything worked out just great. You hsould use this router as the main router because it is more secure then the modem/routers an ISP gives you. Customer was great and they had god communication through e-mail when I was having troubles. Luckily I fixed the problems myself, but they were there and willing to help.
