Summary: So far it's great 2009-01-08
Comment: I bought this to replace an ailing Linksys super G router. Other than having to call my cable ISP to get it working on their system, the set-up was easy. I followed other reviewers' advice and skipped the installation disk, going right to the IP address for the router. My difficulty was that I was not using the same PC that I used when I set up the Linksys... thus the necessity for the call to my cable company.
The router? Flawless. My range has improved tremendously. I haven't had a single disconnect since I installed it. I have it set up on the second floor in my old stone house - where the cable connection comes in. I do not have a PC connected directly to it. The inside walls of my house are wood, and there are two all tile bathrooms in the way of things. The reception on the first floor is now very good. My second floor PC (on the far side of the house) with a Linksys N PCI card is going full boat. My tiny netbook eeePC on the first floor is doing great. My Ipod Touch now connects with a strong signal everywhere in the house. My T-Mobile wi-fi Katalyst cell phone pulls a strong signal as well. I'm a happy camper!

Summary: No problems a year later 2009-01-06
Comment: This thing is fast; the wireless is flawless and speedy, setup was a breeze, the gigabit switch is helpful, and it is still a great bargain. I've rebooted it once in the last year (and I don't know if that was necessary). Works in the attic here in Salt Lake City - often subzero in the winter and I'm sure it gets hotter than 120F in the summer (poor venting up there). I'd buy it again in a second.

Summary: 1 year old, still working flawlessly 2008-12-28
Comment: This is the only router I've installed and owned. I took it out of the box, read/followed the directions, and it turned it on. After 1 year, it still works as well as it did as on day one. I did download a software update because the N-standard is not formalized and still being finalized. We live in a very old remodeled 2-story farmhouse and the router is located on the main floor. My son goes online upstairs in his bedroom which is located at the far end of the house. I am amazed that the signal is able pass through the lowered first floor ceiling, insulation, second floor joists and thick wood floors with carpeting.
