After two years of frustration using first a Trixbox and then a Digium AA50 asterisk system, I finally tried the Cisco UC320W. Everything just works. Under both asterisk systems, I would routinely get dropped calls and/or lose outbound audio. I have a commercial 50/10 Comcast cable Internet connection and use Vitelity as my VOIP provider. Both Comcast and Vitelity were blamed by various parties as the problem. The Cisco UC320W works fine with both. I replaced my collection of Polycom phones with Cisco SPA504's and SPA525's. System setup took about 5 hours.
While Digium charges 2K for the AA50 appliance and wants another 400.00 dollars or so a year after the first year in maintenance, Cicso charges about 700.00 for the UC320W and no annual maintenance. Digium does not advise you to place your AA50 directly on the Internet, while Cisco expects you to. The Cisco is also a fine firewall/router/wireless hostspot if you want a single box Internet edge solution.

Excellent, but expensive.,

We have a Cisco UC320 at one of our offices, and it is solid, working very well the 2 voip providers we have tried.
It is still a bit expensive though, so when we opened another office, we did some more research.
We tried a trixbox system, and I agree with other reviewer that trixbox is not the way to go.
So our voip provider, voiSip.com (highly recommended), suggested we try their 200 Series PBX.
It is half the price of the Cisco, and has a ton of features... voicemenus, hold music, call recording, etc.
After using both the Cisco and voiSip systems, I'd say they are both excellent. But the price difference is hard to overlook.
Give them both a look, and go with whichever one fits your budget. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
