The ZyXEL's P-662H series security gateway is a powerful ADSL 2+ modem/router for SOHO, SMB and enterprise branch offices. The device features a high-speed ADSL 2+ port, 4-port 10/100Mbps auto MDI/MDIX Ethernet switch and Dial Backup functions in a box for easy setup and better performance.Aiming at providing secured network access for both data transfer and contents, the P-662H incorporates VPN, Firewall and Anti-Virus technologies.The intelligent built-in scanning engine reinforces Anti-Virus protection on network entry points; and through guarding inbound and outbound traffics, the platform is capable of automatic detection and elimination of viruses introduced by Internet activities. The robust Firewall security features and standard IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) also protect against network intrusions.For ultimate user convenience, the P-662H sports Zero Configuration technology that configures itself when a DSL line is connected; and the intuitive, OS-independent interface also allows users to perform additional setup on any PC.Additional features such as Auto Fail-over and Fall-back Dial Backup, Traffic Redirect, and Media Bandwidth Management (MBM), maximize performance while minimizing operation and maintenance cost.
